An archive is a collection of files that is organized into bundles. If you need to quickly determine whether a file is a valid archive, you can do this by comparing the file size with the size of the archive. If the file size is greater than the archive size, then the file is a valid archive. The next time that you save the file, it will create a new archive file.

You can determine whether an archive is of a size that will contain a valid file by comparing the file size with the size of the archive. If the file size is greater than the archive size, then the file is a valid archive.
Note that if the new archive is larger than the previous archive, then you may need to clean up the old archive.

ARCHIVE ALLOWLIST:
By using the Archive Allowed List, you can prevent auto-saving or auto-saving to a default location of a file that you do not want to be archived.
Note that this feature cannot prevent you from archiving files that you have set as Archive Prefix.

ANOTHER TIP
You can quickly archive a file by selecting Save and Archive from the File menu. This does not affect the file or any data that it contains.

You can archive the file.For an archive, you may want to choose a different location for your file, to prevent the problem of overwriting your valuable archive.
If you choose Save and Archive, you can save your archive as a new file to a different location.
If you do not use the Archive Allowed List or you do not use the Archive Prefix feature, you can use Archive Allowed List to remove the file from the Archive Allowed List.
